Team:
Cindy Ng - Creative Director and Author
This San Francisco Bay Area designer Cindy Ng fostered her discerning eye for design at an early age of 16 by venturing into various creative disciplines, including origami, graphic design, and web development. At the age of 21 with a business economics degree from UC Davis, she combined her self-taught talents, designed origami kits, and sold them to prestigious museum shops around the world.
Cindy's artistic vision expanded when she experimented with sheets of fine silver and transformed them into jewelry. Each piece of jewelry is significant as it is designed based on eastern and western symbolism; including wishing for wealth, health, love, and happiness.
Cindy recently authored her first origami book - Girligami: A Fresh, Fresh, Fun, Fashionable Spin on Origami, published by Watson-Guptill. In her spare time, she can be found exploring new cities, fantasizing about her future, and eating(mostly chocolate).
Masumi Abe - Sculptural Designer and Marketing Director
Born in Sapporo, Japan and raised in the San Francisco Peninsula, Masumi's multi-cultural background, creativity, and smarts blend in very nicely with our creative studio. Masumi nurtured her passion for the arts when she was a working artist in Japan's art and music industry during the 90s. She assists the team in spinning big and beautiful concepts when brainstorming for next season's collection or our next marketing campaign.
In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, watching indie films, and seeking out the best coffee around town.
